WHO WE ARE

Elevate MK is co-founded and led by Stephanie Okumi, who calls Milton Keynes home. Since launching in 2025, the network has grown through strong engagement and a shared commitment to career development.

Elevate MK exists to support and amplify Black heritage professionals in Milton Keynes. Our purpose is to create a platform where talent, insight, and opportunity come together, helping professionals grow, share knowledge, and build connections across industries.

As part of MK Tech Week 2025, in partnership with Milton Keynes City Council, Elevate MK connected Black heritage professionals with the city’s wider business and tech community, creating opportunities for visibility and engagement.

Rooted in Milton Keynes, Elevate MK strengthens the local professional ecosystem by fostering collaboration, learning, and representation. Through our programmes and partnerships, we bridge connections between Black heritage professionals and the broader business community, supporting career progression while contributing to the city’s growth as a diverse and inclusive hub.
